In 1929 Fritz Schürmann started to work independently as a painter for bicycle frames and founded the  Schürmann Werk in Bielefeld (Germany).

In the last 90 years Schürmann could further expand their position and gain a firm foothold in the market. Today Schürmann Umformtechnik being a family-owned company with modern and innovative products in the business field of bicycle components belongs to the market leaders in Europe.

Schürmann invest in their staff’s qualifications and in the further development of their machines. Schürmann-Umformtechnik is well prepared for the future expanding their customer market and their production and storage capacities.

Quality, service  and flexibility is traditionally given high priority in our company. In many cases innovation offers the made-to-measure solutions in the customer’s interest. Good and long-term relations to our customers are important for us. We see ourselves as their partners. Our customers‘ satisfaction is our primary goal. Consistent focus is placed on sophisticated machinery and well trained and motivated staff! We do not rest but consistently develop our products further. Perfection is our objective.
